LOT OF TWO BISQUE CHILD DOLLS. 1) 1920s French doll with the head incised “PETIT FRANCAISE J.V. FRANCE 8 LIANE”. Also the logo of an anchor. She has very pale bisque with blue glass sleep eyes, upper and lower painted lashes, open mouth with six upper teeth. On her original French wood and composition body which is jointed at elbows, shoulders and hips. Appropriately dressed. 2) Simon Halbig mold 1039 with brown glass flirty eyes mounted on a wood and composition jointed body with wooden “stick legs” that appear to be too small for the body. SIZE: 29″ (53cm) and 22″ (56cm) respectively.
