ART DECO BRONZE/IVORY DANCER. Fantastic Art Deco bronze depicts dancer on one leg with ball in her hand. Head, shoulders and hands are carved from ivory and fitted into the bronze figure. Bronze is beautifully patinated in silver patina with blue highlighting her dress. Her belt ribbon and arm bands are a gold patina. She stands atop a brown onyx base. Signed with etched signature on top of base with what appears to be “J Deschomps”. We believe this to be Joseph Emanuel (Deschomps) Cormier. SIZE: 17-3/4 in. t. CONDITION: Some wear to silver patina, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-61368 (8,000-10,000)
