ABBOTT FULLER GRAVES (American, 1859-1936) “AT THE LANDING”. Outstanding oil on canvas flower garden scene shows a young woman seated at the landing of a stairway. She looks at a recently picked red rose and is surrounded by her garden filled with red rose bushes. A stone wall is beyond with a field leading to connected farmhouse with blue door. Signed lower left. Housed in a fine gilt carved wood frame with carved maker’s name “Philip N. Yates”.An outstanding example of this artist’s work. SIZE: 20″ x 24″.
