FINE FEDERAL INLAID FIGURED MAHOGANY THREE DRAWER WORK TABLE. First quarter 19th century. Probably Massachusetts. The rectangular figured top, the edges with contrasting diamond inlays, the case fitted with a bank of three drawers, all with diamond shield escutcheons. Joined to a spiral twist bulbous shaft raised on four out swept reeded legs with scrolled knees terminating in brass capped claw foot casters. SIZE: h. 29″ x w. 22-1/2″ d. 16-1/2″ CONDITION: With cleaned old surfaces, hardware replaced. Otherwise very good. Standard has an old professional repair. 9-99961 (4,000-6,000)
