Unsigned oil on canvas after a painting by Gilbert Stuart shows a standing George Washington beside his gray horse with smoke billowing from a fire across water. Housed in a modern frame with antique liner. Accompanying the painting is an original steel engraving after a painting by Gilbert Stuart, engraved by T. Kelly and dated “1836”, titled “Washington”.
