PERCY A. SANBORN (American, 1849-1929) ORIENTAL BOWL OF FLOWERS. Oil on canvas scene shows a blue and white Oriental motif footed bowl which is filled with colorful flowers having wide round leaves. The bowl sits on a table with a patterned curtain on right side. Signed lower left “Sanborn”. Housed in a gilt oak period frame. SIZE: 18″ x 24-1/4″. PROVENANCE: Richard Paine Estate, Seal Cove, Maine. CONDITION: Top edge and bottom center have gilt paint oversplash, surface dirt. Otherwise very good. 9-92466 (2,000-2,500)
