RARE AND UNUSUAL MUG FORM CARVED WOOD BUTTER MOLD. The wood pegged hinged lid in bowl form has large geometric carving with eight petals and center diamond. The outside of the top with punch carved designs and pinwheel type carving on top. The footed tub shaped base with similar punch designs sets on four carved feet. The base punch signed “NH”. SIZE: 7-1/4” h x 6” dia without handle. CONDITION: Some minor cracks, generally very good. 9-25380 (500-1,000)
