LARGE DRESSEL CHARACTER BABY. 1920s bisque head baby incised “CUNO & OTTO DRESSEL Germany 13”. This baby has bluish green glass eyes that both sleep and flirt from side to side, he has painted upper and lower eyelashes, open mouth with two milk glass upper teeth and separately molded tongue. He’s on original five-piece bent limb baby body and has been appropriately redressed in burgundy and white romper suit and white linen shirt with lace trimmed collar and crocheted baby booties. The dark mohair wig appears to be original. SIZE: 24″ (61 cm).
