EDWARD WILSON CURRIER (American, 1857-1918) CALIFORNIA LIGHTHOUSE STATION. Oil on artist board scene shows a coastline with low beach area with sand dunes having a series of buildings and what appears to be a lighthouse in construction. Another building is separated closer to the water and in between is a flagpole flying American flag. Waves lap onto the sandy beach area and the horizon appears to have a mountain shoreline. Signed lower right “E. W Currier”. Housed in its original gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 14″ x 20″. CONDITION: Extremely dirty, otherwise very good. It is our belief that this painting will clean up extremely well. 9-95718 (1,000-2,000)
