US 3” HOTCHKISS CANISTER. Non-excavated. Unfired. Having raised letters on the lead sabot, “HOTCHKISS’ 3 IN JAN’Y 7 1862 PATENT”. With the exception of a couple of letters being slightly corroded, the base is well above average and probably as good a specimen as you will find. CONDITION: Orig and untouched condition.
