FINE FEDERAL MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD CARD TABLE. Circa 1810, Boston or North Shore, Massachusetts. The rectangular hinged top with half serpentine ends, ovolo corners, and serpentine front. The edges with lunette inlays in the manner of the Seymour shop, above a conforming frieze with satinwood inlaid figural panels. The corners with engaged half round ring-turned colonnettes continuing to ring-turned tapering reeded cylindrical legs with ring-turned swelled cuffs, continuing to tapered feet. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h x 36-1/2″ l x 17-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Professionally re-polished with restoration at rear corners of top at hinges, and with cosmetic restoration of legs at juncture of apron.
