UNSIGNED (American, Late 19th/Early 20th Century) ARCHITECTURAL SCENE. Architectural subject matter depicting a portrait of a 19th Century farmhouse in Auburn, Maine. Amateur but a nicely done painting of a house with green shutters, attached barn and yard with white fence. Interesting lattice work of porch. Housed in a gesso gold fancy frame, probably original. Stretcher with original paper label “Aiger Stubbs, Portland, Maine”. SIZE: 10” x 12” including frame. CONDITION: Generally good, two trees in foreground have craquelure. 9-71886 (700-900)
