Lot Added: AMERICAN CHIPPENDALE TIGER MAPLE BUTLER’S SECRETARY. Last quarter, 18th century, probably New York. The rectangular case with applied, molded edge above a conforming case. The top drawer with hinged front opening to an interior fitted with an arrangement of three banks of serpentine drawers above a row of pigeon holes over three long, graduated drawers on a molded base raised on shaped bracket feet. SIZE: 48″h x 42″w x 19″d. CONDITION: Refinished and professionally repaired with replaced hardware, otherwise good. 9-24342 (4,500-6,500)
