STANLEY WINGATE WOODWARD (American, 1890-1970) “NOCTURNE”. Oil on board evening scene shows rock cliffs with white tipped waves and two sails on the horizon. A blue sky shows through dark clouds. Signed lower left “Stanley Woodward”. Housed in a period carved and partial gilt wood frame. Attached to back is a Grand Central Art Galleries exhibition label with title and artist.
