MID-19TH CENTURY FLUID LAMP. Lamp has a pressed and cut base. Base of the lamp is cut throughout its entirety except for the bottom 1-1/4″ of the base which retains its pressed form. Attached to the base is a brass shaft and tank assembly. Shaft is turned brass, tank assembly has a pierced base to accept prisms around its circumference. Tank is missing its cap. Attached to the base of the tank assembly is a small 3/4″ x 1/2″ plaque that reads “N.E. Glass Co Boston”. Lamp is obviously incomplete but quite rare and restorable. SIZE: 12″ t x 3-1/2″ at base. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. 5-63122 (500-800)
