TWO BISQUE HEAD CHILD DOLLS. 1) Unmarked other than the head size of “12” this 1920s era French doll often comes marked “S.F.B.J. 301”. She has blue glass sleep eyes with painted lower lashes, original silk upper lashes and an open mouth with four upper teeth. She is on her original French fully jointed wood and composition body which has been repainted. She has been well redressed and wears a newer blond human hair wig. 2) Doll is incised “119-13 HANDWERCK GERMANY HALBIG”. She has brown glass sleep eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, and open mouth with four upper teeth, and is on her original fully jointed body which has been repainted. She wears an antique blond mohair wig and organdy dress. SIZE: 1) 27″ (58cm), 2) 27″ (69cm).
