TWO SMALL SCRIMSHAW TEETH. Second half 19th century. The first depicting two girls in dresses standing back-to-back. The second depicting a three-masted ship under full sail, the reverse a flowering polychrome plant in an urn. SIZE: 6″ l and 5-1/4″ l respectively. PROVENANCE: From a private Utah collection. CONDITION: Both with well polished surfaces and mellow patina. The second with old chips to tip of tooth. Good to very good. 9-90385 (600-800)
