FINE FEDERAL INLAID CHERRY DISH-TOP CANDLESTAND ATTRIBUTED TO NATHAN LOMBARD. Circa 1810, Sutton, MA or CT River Valley. This fine example featuring a square dish-top, crossbanded border, and a central figural panel bordered with string inlays, fan spandrels and a central circular fan inlay, joined to a delicate ring turned urn form standard with incised accents raised on a tripod cabriole leg base with notched angular knees terminating in outswept ridged slipper feet. SIZE: 26-3/4″ h x 17-1/4″ x 16-3/4″ top. CONDITION: Very good untouched condition with mellow color and patina. 9-20317 (5,000-6,000)
