WILLIAM LESTER STEVENS (American, 1888-1969) WINTER VILLAGE. Large oil on canvas winter scene shows a dirt road with deep snowbanks winding through a small village. The road leads to a series of hills under white and blue sky. The small village has a church and several New England Colonial homes. Probably a scene of Colrain, Massachusetts. Signed lower right “W. Lester Stevens N.A.”. Housed in a replacement gilt molded wood frame. SIZE: 34″ x 40″. CONDITION: Very good with minor touch up. 9-96430 (15,000-20,000)
