RARE PENNSYLVANIA SLIP-DECORATED REDWARE DEEP DISH. Mid-19th century. The small rectangular deep dish applied with handles at ends, the center of each side impressed with thumbprint ridges. Interior of dish with a heart, key, and hen decoration. The exterior of sides decorated with 7-sided stars alternating with stylized conifers. All with pointilated yellow slip decoration. SIZE: 1-3/4” h. x 9-1/2” overall l. x 5-1/2” w. CONDITION: With minor and minimal chipping on handles and corner of upper rim. Also with minimal glaze losses on exterior of sides.
