SPECTACULAR HUGE MOSS SLEIGH WITH SANTA AND FOUR REINDEER. Without a doubt the pinnacle of the Mylin’s Christmas collection!! Not only are the size of the four reindeer impressive, but the molding, all the intact trappings and facial expressions alone overwhelm anybody viewing this toy. The wood and moss sleigh with white highlighting and being driven by a full bodied papier mache Santa with a plethora of mica on his brown coat and enhanced by cotton batting trims and beard. His facial expression is that of an early Santa, the one that all Santa collectors treasure. All of this mounted on a board that was originally trimmed in black and painted white. Upon close inspection, a long time ago, the four cast iron wheels were removed and patches put in place and the white board touched up. This is certainly not a distraction and can be easily remedied and put back into its original condition. The reindeer each measuring in excess of 11” are composed of flock papier mache with an abundance of leather red trappings, molded harnesses, and delicate cast lead antlers. SIZE: 38”. CONDITION: Overall very fine some loss and re-gluing to moss sleigh, antlers show some bending and paint loss and a few need to be glued back to head of reindeer. Damage/cracking to legs of reindeer.
