RARE DUFFNER & KIMBERLY TABLE LAMP BASE. Three socket base is decorated with an Art Nouveau cat tail type decoration on center shaft extending downwards to a four padded circular foot that has an embossed floral decoration of water lilies. The base carries a dark verde brown patina. The base is finished with three acorn pulls, a rolled top cap and finial. Signed on shaft “The Duffner & Kimberly Company New York” with logo. The identical base may be found in a November 1910 Electric City advertisement that is pictured in the book Mosaic Shades Volume II by Paul Crist on page 164. SIZE: Lamp is 24″ t.
