PAUL BERNARD KING (American, 1867-1947) “EVENING LIGHT” – MONHEGAN HARBOR. Outstanding oil on canvas harbor scene shows several dock areas with sailboats lining each side of a sunlit harbor. A man in a rowboat is seen in the foreground and colorful figures can be seen outside a building. Signed lower right. Housed in a fine gesso decorated partially gilt frame having a Newman Galleries label. Back of stretcher has a Grand Central Art Galleries Inc. New York Exhibition tag with artist & title.
