HERBERT WILLIAM MEYER (American, 1882-1960) “OLD GRAY BARN-DORSET, VT”. Large oil on canvas Vermont scene shows a long gray barn with extended shed having fenced corral and fields. A small calf is in the foreground and the backdrop of the barn are tall dark hills. Signed lower right. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood frame with artist title and name plaque by Guido Frame Studio. Exhibition labels (which are not affixed to frame) provided indicate this work was exhibited at the Rhode Island School of Design and McBeth Gallery, NYC. SIZE: 25″ x 30″.
