FINE SCRIMSHAW TOOTH. Circa 1880, probably New England. Scrimmed with a top sail schooner under full sail, the opposing side depicting a two-masted ship of possible French origin. SIZE: 6-1/4″ l. PROVENANCE: From a private Utah collection. CONDITION: With mellow polished surfaces, normal and expected shrinkage cracks and light abrasion. Very good overall. 9-90373 (1,200-1,800)
