Rare and exceptional Daum gourd has mottled body of green, blue, yellow and red with a pierced opening on the side of the gourd with an applied insect crawling towards the opening. The gourd is finished with a naturalistic light blue stem which wraps a third of the way around the body. Signed on the side with etched “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine.
