LOT OF TWO POCKET REVOLVERS. 1) Remington/Beals 1st Model 1st Type. Cal. 31 Perc. SN 54. Blued finish, 3” oct bbl, with “F. BEALS’ PATENT / JUNE 24. 1868 / REMINGTON’s / ILION N.Y.” marked on the top strap. Left side of bbl has small “W19” mark. It has 1-pc smooth gutta percha bag grips, silver plated brass triggerguard. CONDITION: Good. All metal has been cleaned & refinished. Grips have faded slightly. Bore is pitted. Action is fine. 2) F.D. Bliss. Cal. 25 RF. SN 112. Blued finish, casehardened hammer, 3-3/16” oct bbl with good markings, post front sight, 2-pc checkered black gutta percha grips. “48” marked on loading plate cylinder. Approx. 3,000 made during 1863-64. CONDITION: Good. 50% blue on bbl, 20% on cyl, & traces on frame. 60% casehardening colors on hammer, right on sides, with slight wear. Grips are fine.
