FRAMED HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA FOR CLARENCE THULIN IN THULIN FRAME. Unsigned gilt carved wood frame holds a Town of Belmont, Massachusetts diploma. The simple carved wood frame with arts and crafts style carving at corners. Clarence Thulin was son of Walfred Thulin. PROVENANCE: Thulin Estate, Hamden, Maine. Handed down through family descent from Walfred Thulin (1878-1949). Thulin worked for the Carrig-Rohane Workshop until he had his own shop in Boston from 1912 into the 1940’s.
