MIRROR WITH THULIN CARVED FRAME. Rectangular mirror plate housed in a signed fancy gilt and carved wood Thulin frame. The frame decorated with high relief flowers and fruit with interspersed strap X’s with a red wash and carved signature “1941 Thulin” and artist monogram. PROVENANCE: Thulin Estate, Hamden, Maine. Handed down through family descent from Walfred Thulin (1878-1949). Thulin worked for the Carrig-Rohane Workshop until he had his own shop in Boston from 1912 into the 1940’s. SIZE: Inside is 19-1/2” x 15-1/2”. Outside is 24-1/2” x 20-1/2”. 9-29902 (500-1,000)
