CHARLES PAUL GRUPPE (American, 1860-1940) GRAZING UNDER THE SHADE TREE. Oil on canvas scene shows a cow grazing under tall trees at the edge of a green pasture with other cows beyond and building. All under white cloud and blue sky. Signed lower left “Chas. P. Gruppe”. Housed in what appears to be its magnificent fancy flower decorated gilt frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 18″ x 24-1/4″.
