UNSIGNED (China Trade, 19th Century) PORTRAIT OF THE SHIP “BOELILDIEU”. Oil on canvas mounted on masonite portrait of the three mast light blue-green hulled ship sailing left to right under blue and pink highlighted clouds. Nine crew members are seen on deck. The name on bow also ship’s pennant off back mast with other flags including French flag. The ship is seen in full sail. Housed in a modern ebony frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 15-1/2″ x 21″. Overall: 19″ x 24-1/2″ CONDITION: Some spot inpainting, white line craquelure 9-28554 (800-1,200)
