Nice sailor made turned candlesticks with incised candle cups joined to a turned swelled standard joined to round ring turned base. Whale bone knitting needles with ring turned handles above alternating bands of hardwoods and ivory. SIZE: Candlesticks:7-1/4″ h with 2-1/2 base dia. Needles: 13-3/4″ l. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: Candlesticks with some charred areas at rim of each candle cup. Otherwise good with original surfaces.
