AMERICAN PINE CARPENTER’S CHEST. Mid-19th century. The rectangular hinged lid with breadboard ends opening to an interior fitted with compartments for woodworking tools. The dovetailed case raised on a plinth. The case ends fitted with becket brackets. SIZE: 26″ h. x 39-1/2″ l. x 26″ d. CONDITION: Retains early pumpkin-pine waxed surfaces. Shrinkage split in lid, wood filler left rear hinge facing. Nice overall color and patina. 9-93005 (200-300)
