LARGE (CIRCLE/DOT) BRU BEBE DOLL. 1880’s era Bru Bebe incised on both head and shoulder plate “Bru Jne 9”. The head also has the so-called “circle/dot” mark. She has beautiful pale blue threaded paperweight eyes, open/closed mouth with molded tongue tip, all leather gusseted body with perfect bisque forearms and fingers and wears a remade ankle length gown from antique cream colored silk and fine ecru lace as well as an antique blonde mohair wig over original cork pate and old pink silk shoes with leather soles impressed “6 H.H.”. SIZE: 26″ (66cm). CONDITION: All bisque parts are excellent, some patching to the leather body on arms and leather piece holding shoulder plate to torso has been replaced. 1-8502 RS (20,000-22,000)
