Beautiful bisque socket head on separately kid lined shoulder plate, incised on head simply “4” with beautiful threaded blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with serene expression on an all leather white kid body, gusseted at the elbows, hips, and knees, with individually stitched fingers. She has been beautifully costumed in a two-piece pale green silk and ecru walking suit with long train and bustle in back. The elaborate blonde mohair wig is styled in tight curls over original cork pate. Accompanying her are two metal bracelets with fan and cloth purse, also a larger ivory fan and remade silk bonnet with flowers. The underwear is all antique, as are the stockings, white leather shoes impressed on the sole “J4”, the sole of the other shoe replaced. CONDITION: Excellent. 1-7335 RS (2,000-3,000)
