*SCARCE SMITH & WESSON PRE-WAR REGISTERED MAGNUM REVOLVER. Cal. 357 mag. Blued finish, 8-3/4” bbl, with matted rib and top of the receiver. Front sight is a rare King mirrored sight with red ivory bead. Rounded top strap with white outlined blade in the sight. Hammer is the early type with checkered spur and serrated side. Registration number is 4953. Square butt with replacement magna grips that are too short. SN 58933. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains about 98% strong bright original blue overall, with only minor muzzle wear and faint sharp edge wear and a fine line around the cylinder. Grips appear new.
