LEATHER STOCK SADDLE. Fine old tooled working saddle with about a 13″ seat, wide square-shoulder pommel and shallow cantle with short skirts, dbl rigged with jockeys and tin covered bentwood stirrups. It is carved with steers, horse-heads and cowboys decorations with rope border decorations, and four leather rosettes on each side with piggin strings. CONDITION: Fair to good. A little dry with some nicks & scratches on the cantle. Leather covering over the metal horn is worn through on the front. Jockeys are dry & crackled and the sheepskin liner is moth eaten. Stirrups are fine. With a little attention this could be restored to a fine riding saddle. 4-53798 JR382 (400-700)
