RARE REMINGTON RIDER DA PERCUSSION POCKET REVOLVER WITH ORIGINAL BOX & ACCESSORIES. Cal. 31. SN 4171. Blued finish, casehardened hammer with 3-1/8” oct bbl with standard 2-line bbl markings, mushroom cylinder, pin front sight, 2-pc checkered gutta percha grips. Accompanied by orig 2-pc black cardboard box partitioned for revolver, small pistol flask, 1-1/2” loading tool with threaded hole for cleaning rod, cleaning rod, some lead balls & percussion caps, iron bullet mold & spare mushroom cylinder which are all included. Partitioned section appears to be newly constructed. Directions for loading & using revolver are printed in the lid. CONDITION: Good. Bbl has been cleaned & reblued, but traces of orig finish remain on the cyl, frame, trigger, & hammer. Spare cyl is also reblued. Grips show slight wear, left panel is sun faded to olive. Bore is good but lightly pitted. Mechanically fine. The 2-5/8” screw top bag flask is excellent, retaining 80% of its orig finish. Bullet mold has been cleaned & has good cavities. Loading tool is very good. Box has repairs on the top edges & corners with scuffs on the bottom. 4-59310 JH65 (3,000-5,000)
