RARE BOXED BEALS 2ND MODEL PERCUSSION POCKET REVOLVER. Cal. 31. SN 155. Blued finish, 3” oct bbl with crisp markings, post dovetail front sight, casehardened hammer & 2-pc checkered hard rubber grips. Cylinder is a proper plain cylinder. This is the rarest Model Remington revolver made, in that there were less than 1,000 produced and it is extremely rare to find one in an original box. Accompanied by an orig 2-pc black cardboard box partitioned for & containing a rare “REMINGTONS. ILION.N.Y.” marked flask, a brass loading tool, dbl ball brass mold, cleaning rod & extra cylinder. CONDITION: Blue/Brown patina overall, worn on the edges. Grips show heavy wear with initials scratched in base. Bore is pitted. Mechanically fine. Flask retains about 30% of the orig brown varnish, has some light dents. All other tools are fine. Spare cyl was heavily polished before it was reblued.
