Several large ships are moored with one at dock. Many red roof buildings are seen in rows and one area circling a parade area flying flag. The foreground hillside having a tent encampment with men and some houses. The background having an extended coastline with bay areas and mountains. A label from Maxwell Galleries, San Francisco is attached to the back with title and artist. Painting is signed lower right “T. Hill”. Housed in a gilt molded wood frame.
