This was published in a special Statemen’s Edition being limited and numbered 697. Copyright 1901 and 1907. Full leather binding with gilt bronze inlaid relief sculpture of the American eagle as the official seal of the President of the United States. Dimensions of inlaid seal is 8 7/8″ diameter. Portfolio consists of 25 beautifully engraved full page images of all of the presidents of the United States from George Washington up to and including Theodore Roosevelt. Below each presidential image is an engraved facsimile of their signatures. There is also a brief biographical history of each of the presidents. An extremely rare publication of United States Presidential images and histories. SIZE: Overall of portfolio is 20″l x 16 1/2″w. CONDITION: The contents are in near excellent condition. The leather binding has half to full length spinal cracks, yet still fully intact. Plus, some scuffs and bruises to the corners and edges of both front and back boards. 1-27516 (600-900)
