ENGRAVED SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL #2 SECOND ISSUE REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Nickel finish, 3-1/4” keyhole ribbed bbl with 2-pc round butt pearl grips. Engraved in New York style with about 80% coverage and the backstrap inscribed “E.M. BLALOCK”. SN 27361. CONDITION: Very fine, all matching including the grips, which have the number 361 inscribed on both sides. Overall retains 96-97% strong original nickel with only minor losses on the cylinder and at the muzzle and a small bare spot on the bottom of the butt. Grips are fine with a chip out of the right heel and some age discoloration. Bore is strong with light pitting, mechanics are fine. 4-48083 JR176 (Anderson Collection) (1,000-2,000)
