*COLT 1ST GENERATION SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20). SN 316111. Usual configuration with 4-3/4” bbl, 2-line address, and rampant Colt hard rubber grips. It is a scarce caliber in this bbl length. It has “Eleanor” and “1951” inside the left grip and “1951” inside the right grip. CONDITION: About good. Bbl retains 50-60% thin original blue, strong in the sheltered areas with heavy muzzle edge wear on the left side. Frame retains traces of case colors in the sheltered areas, being mostly a silver gray patina. Trigger guard retains traces of blue in sheltered areas, being mostly silver patina. Back strap is mostly dark brown patina. Cylinder has traces of blue in the flutes with the balance silver-gray patina with some moderate to heavy pitting in one spot. Two of the frame screws and one of the back strap screws are battered with three of the trigger guard screw appearing to be replacements. Grips are very worn with some battering on the right side, but still intact and turning chocolate. Mechanics are crisp, strong bright bore with scattered moderate pitting. 4-53068 JR611 (1,250-1,750)
