AMOS AND ANDY TAXI & ANDY WALKER. One of the most recognized black toys ever manufactured by Marx, the Amos and Andy taxi is a most amusing toy to children as well as adults. With the shaking, rattling and rolling of the vehicle, typical of a run-down, about ready for the junkyard car, Amos would chauffeur Andy about town who was relaxing on the back seat but being jostled about. Included in this lot is a single walking figure of Andy Brown, the better version with movable eyes. SIZE: Taxi – 8″ l. – Andy – 11″ t. CONDITION: Overall condition is fair to good, roughness and corrosion to litho but mechanisms in operational order. Replaced horseshoe on taxi. 1-7966 HJL (300-500)
