ALFRED THOMPSON BRICHER (American, 1837-1908) NIGHTTIME SEASCAPE. Oil on canvas scene shows a sailboat on a tranquil ocean having beach in foreground with crashing waves with the left side having large rocks. Housed in what appears to be its original gilt gesso decorated antique frame. Signed on back of canvas with conjoined initials and last name, dated “1902”. SIZE: 10″ x 24″. CONDITION: The canvas has a large area of water damage centrally through the whole painting which has considerable flaking and loss of paint. 9-28993 (800-1200)
