LOT OF 2 DESIRABLE BLACK WIND-UP TOYS. The first is the famed Charleston Trio by Louis Marx, the second is a rare black jigger upon a tin base produced by an unknown American manufacturer. The Charleston Trio contains a dancer in the center, a young man dressed as a bellhop playing a violin, and a dog with a cane clenched in its teeth. A multitude of various scenes of black culture depicted on the sides of the toy add to the desirability and the appeal. The second is a most interesting jigger with the mechanism contained in its body and when winding the tin base it would activate the figure and it would do a dancing movement. SIZE: Trio: 9-1/2″ t., Jigger: 7-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Overall condition good to very good with some wear to tin litho. Mechanisms functional on all both units. 1-7969 HJL (400-600)
