13-1/2” GERMAN MILLINER’S MODEL W/ LONG BRAIDS. An outstanding example of a milliner’s style doll that is all original, including provenance note of original owner and a box in which doll was stored away in for many years. According to note, doll is from late 1830’s. Doll is dressed in a gauze outfit highlighted by red silk ribbon and lace. Doll has exposed ears and long braids, trailing down onto shoulders.
