WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTER VASE. This beautiful square Fairyland Lustre vase has on two opposing sides a scene of a city with a large tree in the foreground and bridge with figures in the city. At the base of the trees are concealed figures of fairies and animals. The other two sides show stylized trees, partially concealing a stairway to the city. Beautiful opalescent lustre glaze on the outside with a blue wash interior. The interior rim is decorated with a band of butterflies. Marked on the underside with “Wedgwood England” and insignia. SIZE: 7-3/4” t x 5-1/2” sq at the top. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-71607 (6,500-7,500)
