TIFFANY STUDIOS RED POPPY TABLE LAMP. Exceptionally beautiful red poppy shade has multiple poppies in various stages of bloom in colors of red, purple and lavender. Glass used in the some of the poppies is heavily striated while other poppies are comprised of cats paw-type glass. The poppies rest against a varigated green background glass with tonal changes from soft spring green to deep emerald and even hints of blue. The top and bottom border of the shade has heavily textured glass. Shade ends with a filigree overlay on the interior and exterior of the shade, a stunning example. Signed on the edge of the shade “Tiffany Studios New York 1531”. Shade is supported by an outstanding example of a decorated Tiffany Studios library base. The four padded foot base extends upwards into the decorated platform which rises to a center shaft having vertical ribbing and artichoke design. Three sockets, riser, wheel and top cap complete this gorgeous lamp. Base is signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 363”. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Overall 26″ t.
