LOT OF TWO WWI TRENCH KNIVES. (1) L.F & C Model 1918 with brass knuckle guard, brass handle and hand guard. It has a 6-3/4” dbl edge blade. Good to very good. Blade retains about 20% thin original blue with fine pitting on the bare areas. It has a slightly bent tip with the tiny point broken. Grip retains a dark brown patina. (2) L.F & C Model 1917 with 9-1/8” tapered triangle shaped blade with stamped hand guard and wooden finger groove handle. Accompanied by its original iron and green leather sheath. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Blade retains 75-80% bright original blue. Hand guard and handle retain most of their original finish. Sheath is flexed in the middle with some losses of green finish, otherwise is very fine. 4-52451 JR523 (400-700)
